It Used to be Me

The one touching your hair, with her hands
Running along the stubbles of your beard
Longing together...I don't understand
It's as bad, just as bad, as I had feared

Now she's sitting on your lap, head tilted back
Laughing with her teeth bared like little knives
Around her eyes, baby lines have started to crack
Alone in my room, something in me cries

He belonged to me once! He was mine, mine
His eyes glow as he gazes adoring
While mine streak drops as thoughts burrow back in time
Sink in the mud of what I'd been ignoring

I was once the girl you thought of at night
And now I'm less than a shadow near her light
